Below is a sample of some of the work I’ve done for other clients.

Tackling Your Inner Demons (2024)

This biography of social media star Dawson Barrett details his life story along with 25 important lessons he learned along the way. Released in March, it rose to #1 on the TikTok book sales charts thanks to his 2.8 million ardent followers.

Passion PUNCH to Success (2018)

My #1 best-seller on Amazon, ghostwritten for realtor Albert Garibaldi. It’s a self-help book designed to help readers find and exploit their passions in life, as well as chronicling the rise of Garibaldi as a guy who failed the real estate exam three times to becoming a top producer in Silicon Valley. Click the book cover above to see it on Amazon and read a sample.

Amdahl Corp.

Now defunct, Amdahl was a Silicon Valley company that specialized in mainframes. Their Logistics department had just implemented a new inventory management system called EMS 2000, and they needed a tech writer to build their training manual. Through a friend of mine who worked within the department, they hired me to write a 40-page manual that was used for training new and existing staff. Really great group of people, and I still keep in touch with some of them to this day.

Bay Area Pool

Bay Area Pool (BAP) was a collection of local adults who had a billiards league when they were younger. They had tons of videos of themselves playing pool, and hired me to write a profile of their league so they could distribute it among their circle of family and friends. Really fun project; profiling is probably my favorite service that I offer.

Decor Medley

In the late 2000s, I got more involved in building websites, and came across an interior decorator named Giorgina Devereaux who was looking to expand her business by creating an online presence. She had just purchased a website building/hosting tool called Site Build-It, and she hired me to write about half of the hundreds of articles for her website. While I knew little about home decor and didn’t have much of an interest in it, I took it as a challenge to myself to research something new, and write about it with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind. Very difficult project for me, but lucrative for both of us because Decor Medley ended up supplementing her income fairly significantly. She later sold the website, but I’m quite proud of the work we did. This project lasted a few years and was a ton of work.

Dowling Fitness

Personal trainer Kevin Dowling ran a thriving business in the Bay Area… most of the time. It was always cyclical for him, so in the mid 2010s, he turned to me to help broaden his online efforts. I ghostwrote a profile for him, plus some blog posts on some of his training concepts. I also utilized my own Paleo website at the time to interview him, and within a few weeks he was solicited by clients who specifically cited the articles I had written for him as the reason they reached out. Years later I also edited an e-book Dowling wrote on personal trainers can gain more clients.

Project Management for Beginners

The Project Professor hired me to write his book, but later turned the content into a full website based on its theme. While some of the chapters of the book were used as blog posts, we created plenty of new ones as well. This was far easier for me, since I had project management experience in my day job. As noted earlier, that style of project management isn’t really in practice anymore, and the site no longer exists.

Power Pro Paleo

This was my own website, a short-lived recipe blog that focused on the Paleo style of eating that I was into at the time. The idea was a good one, I just tired of the constant food photography while making the recipes, and the content itself got to be too redundant for my tastes. Still, it was enjoyable and reached a lot of people who were grateful for the creations I inspired them to cook up in their kitchens.

SiteSell

SiteSell owned Site Build-It, a website building and hosting tool that was extremely popular and successful in the late 2000s and early 2010s. While working for Decor Medley (see above), I ghostwrote a forum post that was so popular and helpful that the CEO commissioned it to be used as one of the company’s flagship training articles.

Ultimate Test Prep

Test prep is a niche with a lot of demand and little competition, so a very entrepreneurial fellow back East hired me to write some blog posts for him. The idea had loads of potential, but unfortunately the project never got off the ground due to his time commitments. If there were more hours in the day, this is one idea I’d consider pursuing myself. For now, it was what it was.

Your Ageless Face

In the mid 2000s, a client, who wished to remain anonymous, hired me to write several blog posts and product reviews on anti-aging skincare. Obviously with the huge markup or skincare products online, this niche had heaps of potential. While I didn’t know much about the latest advances in skincare, the subject interested me and I enjoyed the research. The site no longer exists, but we gave it a good shot.

In addition, I’ve ghostwritten hundreds of blog posts that I’m not contractually permitted to mention or take credit for. Some of these I consider to be my best, most favorite pieces of content, and some have become quite well known in their respective niches with respectable accolades. If you’re looking for someone to either write or ghostwrite longer or shorter content, please contact me so we can discuss. I also offer editing services, at lower rates.
